According to the mechanic the transmission doesn't have to come down to replace the seal it can be done by removing the Axle. The mini still runs and drives great but is going to need the Seal replaced so the transmission can be top off with fluid.. it has been an excellent little car but it just started leaking transmission fluid from the Axle Seal and we can't fix it right now Power Mirrors✔ Power Windows✔ Air Conditioning✔ Sunroof/Moonroof

2006 mini cooper S, 4 Cylinders Supercharged, automatic transmisson, ac, heater, power windows, power mirrors, Leather and Moonroof, almost new tires in great condition with only 92,500 original miles, it has been in excellent little car but it just started leaking transmisson fluid from the Outside Axle Seal and we can't fix it right now, The mini still runs and drives great but is going to need the Seal replaced so the transmission can be top off with fluid.
